Summer break has come to an end and my very own blog is just beginning. I am stoked to share my life, adventures, writing, and photography with my readers.
I am Nichola Rae, a student, dancer, writer and amatuer photographer from North Carolina. For the last two years I have wanted to start a blog to share my passion for living with others. I have finally found a good time to begin my journey with you and myself.
My summer was jam packed with very fun trips with both my family and friends, and I loved nearly every minute of it. I was only home for a few days at a time before I would leave once again. I was enjoying Fourth of July and the following weeks with my family that lives on Saint Simons Island, GA. Here, we enjoyed the beach, shopping, late night walks to the pier, and having family meals. It's always great to see my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Not only that, but seeing my old friends, and even making new ones, make for some of the best days. After SSI, I went to Rome, GA to visit my family, along with old friends. Lastly, I went to Hilton Head Island, SC, and one of my best friends, Brenna, tagged along. We had an amazing time relaxing on the beach, riding bikes, and lounging by the pool. I am hoping to share some of these pictures from my summer with you in a later blog post!
Nearing the last few days of summer, I enjoyed a nice day out with some of my best friends! We went to eat tacos at the new White Duck Taco Shop → Location
We took a lot of pictures here in front of the murals and colorful walls, but also went to Biltmore Park Town Square → Location
We walked and talked, and took even more pictures for hours. We got frozen yogurt and drove around to check out the crazy cool houses just behind Biltmore Park. This was one of the best nights of summer, just the girls jamming to throwback songs and having a fun time. My friends make me cherish every moment, and I hope yours do too.
